Is there a rivarrly between the French Valais and the German Valais?  :D

Yes, it's Sierre! There is a big wood between the German and the French speaking part.
I wouldn't say there is a rivalry between the two regions, we just don't communicate that much  =) There were a lot of wars during the Middle Age, but it's all over now
