Confiscated and impounded in late April 2024, because why? It is actually belongs to Harvey Moeis, a local businessman here who was arrested over corruption, mainly a case on illegal lead. This Cullinan, registered as owned by a PT company, was originally gifted to his wife for her 40th birthday in August 2023, Indonesian actress Sandra Dewi. No, no, NO, WRONG, correction of why I'm posting that such comment IS the uncertainly of how this image can be kept visible to both public and online users because now, this vehicle is connected to a larger criminal corruption case, leading it being impounded, and if that situation happens, I was expecting that there may be changes of this spot in this site;

@Everyone - If there's an active criminal case, like the one I've said in my previous post above, which leads this vehicle becoming a confiscated asset, does that mean this spot will be taken down from this site for good? This also applies with the previously-spotted B 2 MKL and B 2 RPL because those two sports cars were also vehicles belonging to that same guy as this Cullinan, both also marked as confiscated assets.

I'm a bit very scared if that kind of scenario happens; why if the involved associates/lawyers from that active case may suddenly come here and ask us to take down the spots of this (B 1 SDW), B 2 MKL and B 1 RPL, for strict privacy reasons?

Not sure how we can respect and deal with that type of situation, especially I don't want to see PlatesMania to get involved into those such criminal cases like that.

Have anyone else here in other countries have experienced those kind of scenarios/situations that resulted the taken spots got affected in the past? Even long before I joined this site? I'll be waiting for answers/opinions from y'all so we can solve this problem.

Indonesian authorities have no power over Platesmania. Anyway, I made these photos hidden, just to be safe.

You're overthinking this. This is a harmless recording of a vehicle, and neither the identity of the owner nor the exact location where the image was taken is revealed. You are needlessly panicking.

If owner is arrested and imprisoned for any crime, including financial one (theft, peculation, bribery, non-payment of taxes, etc), his vehicle is confiscated, it's not a reason to put restrictions on spotting and publication photos of that vehicle, because these photos can be represented as journalistic material for media coverage.
Arrested owner, as a figurant of the criminal case which is covered by media, is a public fperson, or becomes a public person.
In this way, any requests for deleting such photos from Platesmania can be interpreted as encroachment against the freedom of speech.

Ah, thanks for the great answer, admin! So... what we're gonna do now with this and the other two photos I've linked in my previous comment? Does it's now safe to make these three photos unrestricted to the public viewing for both online and offline/logged-out users? Or we'll just keep them hidden/restricted away from offline users as it is currently until the coast is clear?

I think we can open photos again, if other photos of these luxury cars were published in mass media. No one has objection on publishing them.

I opened all photos again, because they figure out in journalist investigations.
