My nan was from Meath on the east side of Ireland. I haven't been there since 2006-07 because we haven't had the time and money to go back as a family, the closest I've ever been to leaving the country in recent memory is Wales.

My grandad is from Dublin and we only really visit him and consequently just tend to stay in the Swords/Dublin area or NI. My grandma is from Limerick but I had never really been to that part of Ireland so this trip to this part of Ireland was a first.

Sorry for your loss, I knew how it feel, I miss my grandad's joke and story
about what he did back in the day it is super dangerous to do it now like cutting metal
while he smoking. unfortunately, he is a Hoarder so a lot of things have to go to skip when i cleaning the house.
