That's a good question. In terms of population, Leitrim (LM) would be the smallest county, Longford (LD) is the second smallest.
TS, TN, LK, & WD were all discontinued in 2014, so they are becoming increasingly rarer now. I have a car that has the registration beginning with '02-TS'
