This vehicle was ordered as a "new build customer order"
through Lanes Motors in Melbourne, Australia late in 1974.
This car was picked up at the Mercedes-Benz factory in Stuttgart
by the first owner & his Wife in mid-1975
(Original West German license plate visible on the rear windscreen).
They then toured with this car throughout
France, Switzerland, Italy, Yugoslavia & finally Greece.
In 1976, the car was then shipped from Greece to Melbourne, Australia
where it resided up until 2023
(Original VIC license plate visible in rear windscreen).
In January 2023, the car was then shipped to Ireland
where it now resides with the Son the original owner
who has owned the car upon the first owner's passing in 2001.
This car has therefore never been transferred or sold outside of the family!
