I really like that too and in France we are lucky to have a system that allows a lot ! I was even happier to get one from a country like Ireland as it's not easy to get palindrome in that registration system !

True! French palindromes are great to (I've yet to spot one). It isn't easy to get palindromes in the Irish system at all as they're usually just randomly assigned.
It's great to see one outside Ireland and in a town like Les Sables d'Olonne which I visited about 12 years ago and loved!

Yes, the Vendée coast, including Les Sables d'Olonne, mainly attracts Irish, English, Dutch and Belgians !
I still have some Irish plates from this summer to post !
