Right, however it's strange why somebody took such a grand tourismo to do rallying. Not the best characteristics IMO. But well, I've even seen somebody rallying with a Tatra T613. And also, historic racing not always about competition, but "feelgood". i'm sure the 2300S served his owner well.

Earlier on the 60's it wasn't a rare model for racing in Italy I think, nowadays that were are thinking more of hot-hatches. Off course historic racing is more of an enjoyment of the drivers, the owner doesn't use it so much, normally drives a 911 S
