Honestly, I think that the 1961 plates could be possibly reintroduced in like Serbia for oldtimer purposes, using a format not yet assigned (like TT=L-NNN, because TT NNN-L is used for vessels).
Besides, I've seen some random report stating that brown license plates could be introduced in Montenegro for the same purpose, but I don't know when it was dated.

That would be great but I honestly doubt that they'll ever even consider that idea.
As for Montenegro, it's true! By the end of the year, they will introduce brown license plates for odltimers as a new law for such vehicles has been enacted. And I certainly can't wait to spot one

Sadly no, the officials only announced such plates but never showed any design. My guess is that they will look exactly the same as regular plates, just colored brown
But we'll have to wait and see..
