Hackjob, it is a 200 Series with an aftermarket conversion to a 300 Series, notice the older-style 200 mirrors. I'm bumping back the gen sub-type to one of the facelifted J200s unless the actual MY has been found so we know which J200 model they actually used. Can be also an older MY? Who knows, as I don't know where I can check these Malaysian plates.

And I've added the "Tuning" tag, just in case for the mandatory on what I've said above.

No such site, there's https://www.mycarinfo.com.my/ISearch
but the search only shows whether the car's insured or not. Then there's the Malaysian police accident check website where you can check plates. The plate will come up only if the car's been involved in an accident though and you need registration.

Be aware that typing a plate that happens to be registered under that insurance company can reveal too much! Owner name included albeit with lots of asterisks censor!

Also not every query attempt will fetch the car model and name, your mileage may be vary a lot with this system (due to how Malaysia road transport department has a rather messy database)

Honesty, after reading that, I'm rather chose to stay away from that site myself because of what it really does there as you've mentioned it.
