Moritz Velten Any idea when Iceland and Cubs will added?
As far as I know, adding Czech export transit plates is announced for a near future. Moreover, reworking galleries for adding different options (graphic, numeral) is announced too. After this, New Brunswick will be added to the section of Canada.

I know that DHL, Gulf Air, Qatar airways and others does offer the service of "shipping" your car overseas but i really don't know the process and it's definitely expensive to say the least.
Shipping it should be cheaper in contrast but I know nothing about that process either.
carplates_switzerland I'm wondering how does it work to ship or airlift your car from a country to another?
This is usually done in a shipping container. The service itself is relatively inexpensive, around 1000-2000 dollars, depending on the country. But all kinds of brokerage services and insurance significantly increase this amount. In addition, in some countries you may be required to pay a deposit in the amount of customs duties so that you do not leave the car in that country. Or you need to register a TIR, which is also not so easy for a passenger car. Overall, this adventure is only for real travelers who have the knowledge and time. Or rich people whose work will be done by a broker for money.
