How would that help? On opposite, the driver of such a car with British-like number plates will be considered as a British citizen/subject. But, no matter how you look at it, he's extremely rich... %)

But why pay fines when you can spend it on luxury items and food?

I still don't fully understand why the need to remake plates in Europe. I've seen like 2-4 different reasons that are completely unrelated to each other. Olpy's answer makes sense but it still doesn't answer other things.

Oh well, just something that a common person like me wouldn't understand.

Probably, because in Europe people can't understand Arabic letters and digits (I mean, TRULY Arabic digits). :dont_know:

I think it's because of this (quote taken from DVLA website):
"You must get temporary Q number plates from DVLA if you visit the UK for up to 6 months and either:
Your number plates display numbers or letters that are not identifiable in the UK, for example Arabic script"

I'm guessing remaking the plates into latin bypasses the requirement to getting a q plate?

No, Saudi plates also have a Latin translation so that is already bypassed. As I said, to avoid parking, bus lane and speeding fines.

I wonder how to distinguish a Britanized plate from a British standard plates of the 30s. And then I saw a photo where the plates 30x on a modern car is also white in front and yellow in the back (извиняюсь, если что-нибудь написал не правильно, английский не мой родной язык)

Steering wheel on Left Side, format is correct, no results on UK plate check.
