My car, owned since 10.2023
It was a 1 owner car from new until a couple of years ago when the first owner passed away from old age. It was passed between a couple of owners and came to me at 183,000 miles (295,000 km). It was running on 3 cylinders and has been home maintained for years. Now back on 4 cylinders I am looking forward to reaching 200,000 miles!

m-ast (2025-04-02 23:12:45)They were everywhere when I was young, much like a Focus is today, I knew several people who had a Maestro or Montego, I grew up in friend's parent's cars (and Ford Sierras) but rarely paid any attention to the sudden decline on the roads. It's not the rarest car I own but it has a real "survivor" feel to the car, it's still going and not giving up yet! It was a surprise to me how much I have bonded with the car, I bought it to save it as it needed a new home due to losing it's parking space with the previous owner, I fully planned to sell it on, but I have no plans to sell it now - even when I go through which cars I would sell if I needed to, this one is on the keep list
