Actually, this could be real El Camino. I'm just not sure because of the extra window. It actually could be a Nomad, too though, as the extra rear window wasn't on the El Camino or Bel-Air (I don't think) :)

Nope, the El Camino started in 1959. This is a 1957. I think you're right that it is a Nomad. :)

Thank you for clarifying! The extra window is what made me suspicious that it wasn't a real El Camino, and I knew it couldn't be a Bel-Air, so yep! It's a Nomad! Very interesting how they look so much alike and can easily be converted into one or the other!
 :D

True, but I've never seen anyone convert a '57 into an El Camino before. It looks very strange to me lol.

You're right, Nomad is technically just the name they gave to the body style. It was available for the whole Chevrolet lineup I believe (150, 210, Bel Air). I always just post mine as "Nomad." I don't really know why, just figured I should since it's an option. Do you know which would be preferred?
