Based on the plate frame this car passed through the now-defunct Murray Motor Works of Denver. It is reasonable to assume the car was sold new in Colorado.d

The car was never sold there. It was sold new in New Hampshire, and has also been registered in Massachusetts and now Connecticut

Interesting. No reason to have frames from a shuttered BMW store in Colorado but I've seen weirder frames on cars before.

What could've happened is that the owner just took the plate frame off of a previous car they owned and hung it on this Miata. I say this because I've spotted a 2019 Nissan Rogue with a Saturn of Greenville plate frame. (obviously defunct, the building that served as Saturn of Greenville is now a Jay Gilstrap Mitsubishi dealership).

I can't decide whether that's neat or BAE
