Interesting transfer!

Yes, a lot of oldtimer owners use transferable license plates, which can always be transferred between two vehicles, that way it is cheaper for them to own a „normal“ vehicle next to their oldtimer :drink:

Thats true, so if they swap between their own cars the other car stays at the parking plateless?

I am not sure about the laws of parking those cars, but in my experience I almost never see parked cars in public without plates. So I think they have to be parked to private parking lots or garages.

However, very rarely I see cars parked in public with self made Plates stating the Plate number:

Thats grazy! I understood why they need to park the 'plateless' car on their private ground. If we scrap cars in the netherlands the cars need also to be parked at private ground and the plates have to be removed.

Every country do have their own unique way and rules of issuing license plates, and so you can always learn something and discover something new! :drink:

Interesting photos, I've never seen anything like this, also remember seeing cars with removed plates parked in yards, driveways or garages.
Respect to this owner for both his cars being Volvos :)
