The Mercs on it look to be Japanese spec! Only one country has square license plate brackets like that and a mixture of LHD and RHD configurations (you can see the one on the back is RHD)

In Japan having a LHD car is considered cool and the manufacturers have caught onto this since many years. In Japan you can spec foreign cars with both, LHD often being seen on higher spec vehicles.
It's on one side Japan's love of respecting things how they were originally. A German car is originally sold LHD in Germany, so it's cool to have it like that in Japan. It also likely stems from the times when Japanese cars were more basic and practical and the rich had imported LHD European luxury cars, turning it into sort of a status symbol.
Like even in our gallery, the majority of these are cars are sold originally in Japan, not imported.
