The right mirror on these Boras are so small while the left one is big/normal-sized - that always reminds me of Nemo (the clown fish from the „Find Nemo“ movie) :D

It's not just Boras, this was apparently a pretty common thing during late 90s - early 00s for lots of VWs. I've seen this on some Skoda Octavias and Fabias, too. I've had the "pleasure" to drive a Golf with this smaller passanger mirror and it was so annoying and dangerous - a whole car could fit in that blind spot! I ended up just folding that mirror in just to force myself to turn my whole head, which seemed safer to me that having to lean forward to check if it's okay to switch to the right lane.

Oh, I didn't know! I've only ever noticed it with Boras, probably because it's one of the few VWs I've ever driven. If I had one, I'd try to import a larger right mirror from a scrapped RHD in UK or something  :D

I just read up on it, apparently they said it was for aerodynamics, I think it's for VW to save a few bucks per vehicle.
