1992 VW Golf Cabrio Clipper

Whilst I was convinced this was a private plate when I photographed this Golf way back in 2015, it later transpired that it was a regular plate which had been very cleverly spaced to read 'GOLF' – whether the original owner was aware of this (and deliberately chose 260 when registering the car) or if one of the 9 subsequent owners noticed this will remain a mystery!

Its tax had already been 3 months out of date when I took this pic in South London, and the car was possibly on its way to its new owner, who repainted it blue (and notified the DVLA of the colour change) but for some reason didn't put the car on SORN.
