Fun fact! This gen VW Pickup was only sold in the US for a very short time, because they actually made a law essentially banning them from the market (to protect sales of US trucks)
Unfortunately that law is still actually in place today, so we aren’t able to have certain foreign-built trucks and vans like the Hilux or VW Amarok
