Major_Katz How can you know that it's not the Lebanese ambassador? 36=Lebanon
It is actually a Lebanese Diplomatic, not an Albanian one. Here are the rules for three digit WD diplomatic plates according to europlate.org: n0n: The first digit only is the Diplomatic Code. Other three digits: The first two digits are the diplomatic code, except if the entire three digit number is a diplomatic code itself.

Because of these complicated issues, uncertain and controversial information related to diplomatic mission coding, it's not added to the database.

I agree that it's a bit complicated, but the majority of codes are known and I can provide you with this list in case you are planning to add it in the future, because the list on Wikipedia is actually not comprehensive. I would really like to see them being added someday.

Information in Wikipedia can be outdated. It can comprise closed embassies.

Yeah that's why BAW wants to provide an accurate list, since Wikipedia can be outdated....
BAW Just like DutchPlateSpotter said, I can provide you with a list that is better than the one on Wikipedia. I got it from europlate.org
Information from that list should correlate to the list of diplomatic missions in Austria (not only embassies in Vienna, but also consulates in the countryside).

I just compared these list and came to the following conclusion: 4 countries are on the embassy list but not on my code list. 7 countries are on my code list but not on the embassy list. There are also lots of more diplomatic codes for organisations which are also not listed anywhere. That's why I agree with you that it is too complicated to add them to the site for now. However, in a few months I will work at the Austrian police. There, I might get access to a correct and full list of these codes. In case that happens, I will provide it for you to add it to the site.

I think some codes could be re-assign to recently opened embassies after closing other ones. For example, code 623 mentioned in ]Wikipedia, could belong to the embassy of Zimbabwe before closing in 2015. After this, code 623 probably was re-assigned either to Azerbaijani, or to Namibian embassy; both are present in Vienna.

Interesting, that could definitely be the case. I will try to acquire more information about this
