Interesting that they reprinted the plate without the car being changed.
Either the owner really wanted a Euroband plate,
or he changed it to a Wechselkennzeichen,
or he did modifications to it which had to be added to the registration papers (this triggers issuing a new plate at least for pre-1990 series)
or the car switched owners (in which case I am not 100% sure if the plate would have to be reprinted).
I think that's all options possible.
Anyways really nice spot!
