The number of them dwindled in the last decade but they're nowhere near to become rare. There are still plenty of them on the roads here in Montenegro, Serbia and in Bosnia which is the leader of course.  =)

I remember visiting Serbia as a child, almost all of my relatives had golf 2s. Now they have moved on to Stilos, Astras and other boring cars. Seeing a golf 2 here in Sweden always makes me happy, and I always send a snap to my Balkan friends.

That's interesting to know as I never spotted a Golf 2 from MK. In fact, not even one Golf 2 was uploaded to the Macedonian gallery either  :D

They are more common in rural isolated communities, since I uploaded cars spotted in Prilep and Lenište village. Its worth noting however that Lenište has no permanent inhabitants so most of the community live in Prilep.
