Given the lack of front sidemarkers, there’s a chance it could be Chinese-Spec!

Now that you mention it, the rear license plate inset is wider than on US-Spec ones too, and it seems to be missing the rear side markers as well. This surprises me as I know the dealer on the frames as one that imports many cars from the USA, never noticed anything CN-Spec!
I will edit the tags to #CN-Spec

Yeah, it does look like they have started importing some CN-Spec cars now that I look at their site!
A few I found:

Super unique spot! My understanding is that there is a very high tax on new vehicles what would be the benefit of exporting them?

Do you mean in China or in Bulgaria?
If you mean Bulgaria, there isn't really a high tax on importing, it's just 20% VAT and 10% customs, which can be more on an expensive car, but it also might be cheaper to buy abroad.
As for China I don't know, but I think it's much easier to export new cars from China than used cars.

I meant the cost to buy a new car in China was really high - maybe vehicles bought for export are exempt

This vehicle was manufactured in the US (export model) for China and Middle East markets. However, there is a dealer in Manchester, United Kingdom (David Johnson Ford Lincoln) www.davidjohnsonpartership.com who imports these and many other export model vehicles directly from the US and distributes them to the rest of Europe since they meet the international requirements for amber turn signals. There is a dealer in Bulgaria who I believe has a contract with that UK David Johnson dealer and buys are resales. The car from the picture was not purchased from China and shipped to Bulgaria. It was purchased new from Bulgaria.

Gothca - that makes a lot more sense than shipping directly from China. Thanks for the clarification!

Very interesting information, thank you! That explains these UK plate Lincolns spotted in Estonia, which seem to also be this Chinese spec and exactly from Manchester!

The only difference is not the sidemarkers or amber turn signals in the back but there are some other differences such as headlamp washers that pop up from the front bumper. USDM Lincolns don't have that option. The Bulgarian dealer I am sure buys from the UK dealer at wholesale so they can offer these Lincolns in Bulgaria at competitive price.

As a side note, Dodge Ram and Durango have a licensed importer for EU but they are not officially backed by Dodge USA. AEC Europe www.aceerupe.com imports and converts these two models so they can be legally sold in EU. I would assume that they have a wholesale contract with FCA USA so it will make sense to offer them on the EU market. The Hyundai dealer in Bulgaria has a contract with AEC Europe and offers RAM and Durango for the Bulgarian market. I am sure AEC has many partners throughout Europe.

The two manufacturers that officially sell US cars in Europe are General Motors (in very limited numbers) and Ford. Cadillac Europe currently offers only one model - Cadillac XT4 with 2.0 gasoline engine and exclusively for Europe they have the diesel option that is not available in North America. Chevrolet also has only one offering for Europe -the Corvette.

Ford's portfolio includes the gasoline Mustang, Mach-E and Euro market Plug-In Explorer that does not exist in North America as plug-in. The diesel Edge was also Euro option only as the Edge was never offered with diesel engine in North America.
