There are many Bulgarian lorries - less private vehicles, though it's a nice country to spot plates from. There are more Romanian plates of both, but there is no Romanian gallery yet :)

Other popular lorries are Dutch, Spanish and the most common is definitely Polish.

I think we should talk about why this one is RHD! It's not impossible that it's simply on Bulgarian plates for tax evasion reasons... :-X

It also works the other way around! There are tons of UK plated cars in Bulgaria.

Interesting facts! Thanks! :) Never heard of a lorrie... Is this a Rental Car? The main reason I ask is because I saw you uploading here, and, my brother just got back from a trip to the U.K. and in the photos he sent me was BG instead of GB !! Bulgaria !! He caught it by pure coincidence, so I just had to ask someone from England !!

Ah, sorry - a lorry is what I think you would call a semi (truck)! There are quite a few RHD Bulgarian vehicles in the UK - I saw another one yesterday, a BMW - http://platesmania.com/bg/nomer8944474. I assume it's for tax evasion purposes...

Hope your brother enjoyed his trip to this jolly country :)

Definitely tax evasion, since your insurance in the UK is crazy! This also leads to there being quite a few RHD cars in Bulgaria with Bulgarian registration too. It's really easy to find one. In fact I'm just uploading a Vauxhall Vectra now.

It's ok ! O ok I got ya... Interesting ! I wonder how it feels to drive on the same side and same position !! Cool find !! Yes most likely to avoid tax !!

Thanks !! He very much did !! :) He actually took a picture of himself walking across Abby Road ! He loved it there and wants to return soon. I would love to go too but unfortunately for me... NO PASSPORT ! :(

As America's Mother Country, today, we'd probably be better off if we were still a part of the U.K. !! :D

Although the future for the U.K. and Europe as a whole remains uncertain with the BREXIT movement ! We'll just stay tuned ! :ups:

Wow ! Fun facts !! Driving is dangerous in the U.K. ? I wonder why the high rates ? Really?? Strange !! But why have a RHD when in Bulgaria you drive on the right ? Cool, I'll check it out ! :D

Well many people from here go to work in the UK (and other countries in Western Europe) since the wages are higher and they often buy a car there which they bring over to Bulgaria. I'd actually say a fair chunk of the foreign registered cars I've photographed are owned by Bulgarians.

O ok... Long commute huh ? Amazing facts about the working people of Bulgaria ! I recently read on wikipedia about the air quality issues your country currently faces ! It was an interesting read !! In Texas, the worst air quality is in Houston, our largest city. Bustling traffic and a huge population are obvious factors, however many Petro-Chemical factories in Southeast Harris and Galveston Counties contribute to the problem in a big way ! :-!

This truck was operated by Philson Haulage from West Sussex before it was sold to Bulgaria, that's why it's RHD !;)
