Makes sense, but some of the imports you have uploaded are a bit of.....questionable choices, like the Honda C-RV, Toyota BB and Toyota Previa
Like I said, they are often reasonably priced compared to similar domestic market model, for example they buyer may have saved a few thousand dollars buying an imported Honda CR-V compared to buying a Canadian market CR-V. The only sacrifice is that the import is RHD, which some people don't mind. Same goes for the Toyota bB, compared to a Scion xB.
Ah I get you. Here in Norway they just enacted a law that makes car older than 20 years almost free to import, so I'm seriously considering importing some Japanese car. But shipping is expensive, so then I'd splurge on something real nice like a Toyota Century or a Land Cruiser

There are many companies here that specialize in Japanese imports, and their prices typically include shipping and any import fees/duties. A toyota century would make a very unique and luxurious import!

I agree, it would. And it would literally cost me 1/3 of the price of what a comparable S-Class would cost if I bought it here. I just hope that the Toyota mechanics here would know how to fix that thing heh.

Parts and service are always the one drawback of imports, however i'm sure there are numerous specialty shops which can help you out!

Hope so, althought I live in absolute nowhere and I think the local mechanics will struggle with anything that isn't a pre-1998 Volvo or a Chevrolet C/K. But there's a Lexus dealership a hour away, I guess they could be willing to help, as it's likely they share some parts.
