Yes, usually every car on CDN plates that I see is from Ontario (except 2 from British Columbia and this one) :drink:

Funnily enough, it's the same here in South Carolina. Most of the cars from Canada I see have Ontario plates, however have seen the occasional British Columbia plate, along with a Nova Scotia plate, a few Alberta plates, and maybe a couple of Manitoba plates. However, Manitoba and Nova Scotia are very rare.

I imagine, and I think that in the USA is even more easy to see canadian plates than Europe. So if you see a few of them also there we can say that they are rare. Since what I see from google maps Alberta-South Carolina is like doing Milan-Yerevan so that's quite crazy

Yeah, it's definitely easier to see Canadian plates in the US. Even though I see Ontario most of the time I see a car Canada, they're still pretty uncommon! It's definitely a huge roadtrip to come from that far away!

And I live in Vermont (US state that borders Quebec Canada). I would say 90+% of my Canadian spots are Quebec, the next most common for me to see is Ontario. I rarely see any others here. I have seen a couple of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and one Prince Edward Island (but I saw that in Maine). I have seen a couple British Columbia. Never seen an Alberta, Saskatchewan or Manitoba in Vermont. And forget about seeing Nunavut or Northwest Territories here, but i did see an NWT in Montreal! The only two I am missing to spot all Canadian provinces/territories are Newfoundland/Labrador and Nunavut

Congratulations :drink: I love North west territories, I bought one for 60€ here in Italy, pretty expensive but it was worth it. I would love to spot a bear here in Europe. I saw you are posting a lot of Alberta plates right now so I think you are in Canada right now, I hope that you will find the last provinces you miss. :drink:

Canadians are fucking crazy, I see a lot of posts of Canadian plates posted in Mexico for exemple, a trip from Canada to mexico could be long like a trip from Milan to China without counting all these crazy guys who ship their cars from CDN to Europe.
Since you are American do you know if Niagara falls is a good place to spot foreign plates (also from Europe)? It is a question that I have been asking myself for several days now and to which I have not yet found an answer

Moralisa once spotted a plate from Yukon in Budapest, which is unfortunately the only territory without a bear :D

I actually forgot to mention Quebec! I've only ever seen two around here, one of which I have a photo of. It's M04 NLD, if that sounds familiar to anybody

It truly baffles me how Canadian plates can be seen all over the world, in some of the oddest places. I guess if they're really determined to get to wherever they want to go, then they'll do it.
I believe that Niagara Falls would be a good place for car spotting. I'd love to go there someday, and see for myself. I think it'd be possible to find some kind of European plate there if you come at the right time!

For now I saw Canadian plates in Italy, Croatia, Kosovo, Albania, Serbia and Bosnia. But the canadian cars I saw in the balkans were driven by local people as you can easily imagine.
Thanks for your informations about Niagara falls, I would like to there one day... and why not with my car on Milan plates !;)
