Here is the reasoning for why I take this photo. this was a type that wans't included in my FOIP(Freedom of information and protection of privacy act) (now known as ATIA (access to information act) and they've changed the legislation to be less reliable at getting an access to information request approved.) but anyway . I have to appeal my latest ATIA request with the OIPC (office of the information and privacy comissioner of Alberta) who is the comissioner who audits all ATIA requests to make sure they are denied for valid reasons. And in this case, I wasn't provided with the changeover information for this type. The denial resion was the records (license plate purchase orders) were created for the sole purpose of briefing a minister for question period. Which is a false accusation. Anyways. But through my analysis this is the highest Plate I observe with this old logo and the logo changed either at VPN or VPP. There was also an implentation of the HD 6700 sheeting from 3M put into place sometime mid VN# series which I need to further analyze but this can only be done with closeup inspection of the plate. My hope is that the OIPC appeal can provide me with the license plate purchase orders which will cast light on the ranges of numbers which were utilized for this type and the quantity manufactured. In the mean time please I ask all of you to keep your eyes peeled for a VPN, VPM, VPP series to see at what point it was changed. Peace and blessings to all. Please channel your good energy to hope that I am succesful in appealing the OIPC decision and get access to the government records.
