 :thumbs up: :bravo:

To be the holder of a license plate with a 2-digit number is the great envy of many Swiss residents. !;)

Personally I would like to have a license plate with a 1-digit number.
 :jokingly: But you have to win the lottery for that. :(

I couldn't find it in the top sold plates of any year - so it was certainly sold for less than 25'000 CHF.
In Valais sometimes plates are very expensiven and then their not... very wierd :D

According to Helvetics, Walliser license plates below 1000 which are currently assigned are rare (except school buses and taxis of course). I think they have the same standards as the canton of Fribourg.

That was true up until 2017. They started back then by selling VS 1 for about 160'000 CHF. Since then many 1, 2 and 3 digits carplates have been sold. Of course they still remain pretty rare.

Congrats for this nce plate!

Indeed, plates under VS 1000 are sold in auction since 2017, but they are still not common on the road! Personally, I've only seen VS 18, 20, 48, 58, 63 and 94 (+ VS 1 motorcycle) so far!

I know the owner of VS 94, he also owns VS 540

For reference he paid about 23'000 CHF for VS 94.

For further reference VS 71 was just sold an hour ago for only 11'000 CHF.
