Are you asking why was this plate seen on so many cars? In Switzerland, the plate belongs to the owner and not to the car, if you have a new car you keep your plates and put them on your new vehicle
It is also possible to register up to 2 vehicles under the same numberplate (if you have for example a daily car and a weekend car), and obviously you can't use both vehicles at the same time, only one set of plates is issued
