Borgward is one of my favourite vintage car makes. They went bankrupt in 1963 under suspicious circumstances.

Around 2005, Christian Borgward, a grandson of the founder, started working on plans to revive the brand. The company re-established in Switzerland and Stuttgart, and when the Borgward name and production rights were sold to chinese company Beiqi Foton Motor things started moving forward. New models have been presented in 2015, 2016 and 2017. The BX-7 (as on this photo) is the the top model of the range.

Models are currently being produced in Beijing (China) for the chinese market, and since 2018 also in Stuttgart, but the ultimate plan is to also start production of an electric version in the city where Borgward were originally "born" and made... that city is Bremen, where this car is registered! So this is really a great spot - a new Borgward back in the old hometown.
