May i just ask why this rule doesn’t get applied to everyone? I see spotters from Russia or Dubai which do not tag any of their posts with locations.

if the plate has a regional code, and is spotted in that region it's not needed to add it, but I personally think is better to have it always as it doesn't require so much work and helps a lot the work of moderators
