Interesting, thanks for identifying the model. How do you know the year? Apparently these were made in California by Vopard Industries, with only 500 fibreglass bodies made.

You're welcome.
It looked like a bit of Kelmark - GT from front which is a kit car as well, so I tried googling similar cars like Kelmark and got lucky. After that I looked for oldtimer versions in Germany cause obviously the car met some oldtimer standards, otherwise it could not have an oldtimer plate and found the exact the same car at „Fotocommunity" where it stated that it's 1965 year model.

Great investigative work there To be honest, I didn't have a clue as to what car this was, apart from noticing that the short wheelbase and distinctive air-cooled engine sound suggested it was Käfer based. Many of the VW-based kit cars look similar to each another I find.

Thanks. The only reason I kept looking for was really the fact that it had oldtimers H plate and that pushed me thinking that it's actually a real car with all the requirements to be an oldtimer and existing before. It's not that easy to get H number plates, so I thought I might as well find that one.
