Are DIN-plates really that rare? 
There is a Golf with them that I see around in my city for almost a year. Which is a bit risky, as it's illegal to drive on foreign plates for expended time here and the owner may face high fines (although on a old car like this, it's likely not that big. But still not something you'd want)
