Black-coloured euroband is probably an aftermarket modification. In Romania some people cover the EU stars with the flag as it used to be done prior to 2007. Or they just straight up buy an oversized coat of arms sticker that covers the whole euroband. I wonder how they can travel internationally lol

I'm wonderred too, because I see this car in Poprad recently. First time, I had seen this car around 3-4 years back, and after 2 years I notice this small detail, because it has black euroband on the front too. And thanks, I don't know that some people around the world modificate plates this way. It's interesting. Only once I've seen slovakian plate, which had coat of arms sticker on dash place. But it was long time ago.
Personally, i much prefer the flag over the EU stars. If you want to see what we have over here, look at this site: http://stickereautomoto.blogspot.com/

Yes, but in Slovakia, we already have coat of arms, so, people don't have to "upgrade" their licence plates. But yes,it looks pretty cool. And thanks for an interesting fact. It is legal to do theese changes in Romania?
I dont see why it shouldnt be legal, since i might get one of those. The main condition is that it shouldnt cover the country code, since i might wanna drive abroad, and you know, it also looks way nicer with the country code.
