Thank you! It passed me yesterday when I entered the Uni Campus (on foot). Of course, I then chose not to go to class on time, but wandered around for 15 minutes until I saw it parked up, as you would  :D

Very nice spot, I have a photo of this code from before optionals were introduced, but didn't know that it also existed as DIN  :)
Suppose it's still with the first owner? With the bad reputation the W220 has, it's now quite difficult to find a decent one... This one would also need some rust repair.

I suppose so. Although the driver looked quite young, but I supposed it might be an inheritance from father/grandfather, possibly with a lack of budget for rust repairs  :D

Prefix MEK was introduced in 1995 due to the first administrative reform in Saxony (merging districts), discontinued in 2008, and reintroduced again in 2012, recently after adoption of law on liberalization.
