I think antenn put it very well. Photographing a parked car from close with a decent camera is entirely different to taking motorway photos with a phone.  :pardon:
You would be able to read the expiration on your photos too if the car was parked and you were next to it.
Sometimes even with my camera I struggle to catch a clear enough picture of a car driving down the road to read the expiration date.  :pardon:

It's difficult for me to find German Temporary plates are parked, rather than moving. Only 2 I spotted were parked. Rest of them are moving through D100.
