License plates for the former Landkreis Künzelsau, later renamed Hohenlohekreis, have been issued continuously since 1956, meaning DIN plates with the KÜN code were issued until 2000. Therefore, it's extremely surprising that this photo I'm posting is only the second and the first author's DIN-format photo out of 709 (!) posted in the gallery with the KÜN code.
This vehicle was registered in 1957.
