German license plate, Regular plates

Seen 08.2013 in Oxford.

It actually had the seal of Erzgebirgskreis, so I assumed it was an optional reissued code. Now I guess it is genuine old Annaberg since it was photographed previously in 2011!

If you look closely, you can see that it's the facelifted model that you spotted !;)

Ah yes, I did not look closely at it all really, which I should have done.

I guess the older bus went out of service then. So it probably is an optional reissue after all !;)

Btw, did you mean the seal or what was written under the seal?
Because the seal is the same on every plate given out in Saxony.

Yes definitely under the seal. When I saw it I remembered that Annaberg had not long ago been abolished, so it could have been either old or reissued. Because of this I made sure to check.

Of course you can never rule out the possibility that an older plate simply got new seals (perhaps the old seal got damaged).
