The two-tone silver colour, the boxy design, the oily front rims - just as I remember my father's old Hyundai Galloper. It was also an import from Germany.

Interesting that this one is identical to your father's Hyundai. For how many years did he own it and was it reliable?

Well, ours didn't have the hood scoop and bullbar, must've been with a different engine (diesel). I have an old picture of it on Sofia plates, but I haven't found one on the Tarnovo plates.
All in all it was really reliable, it didn't give us any serious problems for the 5-6 years we had it. It used a lot of fuel though, and the oil had to be regularly topped up due to it leaking and getting on the wheels, seems to be a common issue with Gallopers. We had to give it for a while to some people my father knows and they gave it back with a knocking engine, most likely because they didn't refill the oil. So some months after that we got a Hyundai Terracan which we drive now and sold the Galloper, which is currently registered and driven in Sofia.
