You have some very nice photos of European plates, but is it not possible that some are US-registered, just with European plates put on the front for decoration? This one looks like it has had the coat of arms removed, which is a sign it could've been sold online.

Well, in that case on this website we select "License plate without vehicle" instead of listing the brand and model. That information is for what the plate is registered to, not really just for what is in the photo.

I also face this problem when it will come to my pictures taken in Lebanon. There are some cars driving round there with German or US plates which are definitely not US or German registered. However, they are mostly neither registered in Lebanon as well, so in fact the "deco" plates are the ones people drive around with all the time, so in a sense this is the plate the car is so to speak "registered on", since you will never see it on another plate. I hope you get what I me.
