Triumph 2500
1973 Triumph 2.5 PI MkII
The 2.5 PI (Petrol Injection) was the performance version of the Triumph 2000. The MkII was launched in 1969. Production of the 2.5 PI ceased in 1975, when it was replaced by the 2500S model.
The 2000-2500 series would be the last big Triumph model. When retired in 1977, it was followed by Rover SD1.
This specific car seems to have survived with original plates from 1973.
