The Photograph law is hardder in middle east then in europe.

There's that but it's more so of their privacy mindset that the locals and residents in Bahrain (and likely other Gulf countries) have. To them, photographing their 1999 Nissan Maxima outside of an office might as well be like taking a photo of the owner undressing inside their own homes. In some ways, it doesn't make much sense but it's what it is.
I gotten into couple awkward situations on Instagram over the years as a result and it's why i mostly focus on cars at car meets and shows.
