I think that temp. it is like a reason, but not the most important one, because even in the cold period of February (+15) the doors are also open. I think that this is due to a general simplification (why open and close - it will break in one moment)) and disregard for safety (in Cairo, motorcycle drivers never wear a helmet, drivers don’t wear seat belts and etc.)
