Great spot, for sure Canary Island has the oldest taxis working nowadays in Spain, those W123 are indestructible, and this long wheelbase unit is really curious
I noticed that many of the taxis were quite old, many cars from the 80's and some even from the 70's I believe. But otherwise I have to say the non-taxi passenger cars there were pretty new! I think the oldest cars were in daily service was one Renault 4, one Corsa A and 2 Seat Marbellas. But the trucks were old! I saw an old Hino truck from around the early 80's, it was a funny sight. I haven't seen one since I was a kid!

Yes, it's true, the biggest amount of cars in the islands are rentals so obviously new cars, otherwise the Canary Islands has a very fond motorsport passion, so there are many classic cars and competiton ones but only used in events motsly I suppose
El taxi más atendido en Gran Canaria. ¡Más de 40 años! Tengo un nuevo motor a 5,8 millones de kilómetros (fue inmortalizado en la guantera). Ahora ha conducido casi 7,000,000 KM
