Indeed! I have never been there. Fun fact: Nordkapp municipality had a minor ''socialist revolution'' about the high entrance cost to the viewpoint a few months ago, so it's now free to enter instead of the 30€ per person entrance fee it used to have. (almost 40% of the local population voted for the socialist party that promised to make entrance free for everyone. Making it the biggest party in the municipality and it attracted nationwide attention). Which is good in my opinion, it's already way too expensive for tourists to come to Norway.
That's interesting... Of course, as you may guess, when you drove +4500kms from home, to reach the Cape, even if you feel a bit busted, you pay it. It would be awkward to make a U-turn few hundred meters before the finish line to avoid the toll. But well, it ruin the pleasure quite a bit. Congratulations to the people, it seems more fair this way. The road to reach that place is mindblowing. You live in a magnificent country.
