It doesn't sound convincing. if I see that someone has both views, I just pass by, respecting the work of other users. But this is my personal position, others may think differently.

Plate is more visible, and you have both views so it doesn't cost anything to let one go, the plate stays in your gallery

Exactly. Your picture stays in comments and if someone wants to see plate properly, he will simply close up your photo.

What does the stats have to do with it? If someone wants to change their statistics at the expense of other users, then this is not a polite approach I guess

I mean it as, if someone wants a Morgan 4/4 in their stats they can't have it because you have both views, if you let someone have a 4/4 in their stats you will have one less but still one left, if you understand what i mean

They can't have it not because someone has both views but because they were just unlucky. Certain statistics are also important to me, but it does not mean that I will start begging for a changing of a completely high-quality photo. How am I better than others? We won't understand each other anyway. Rather, I understand your point, but it seems selfish and cavalier to me.

I absolutely don’t see the need of having both views of the same plate taken the same day at the same place in an user’s gallery when someone else has a better picture of it, and wants to upload it.
Especially for a rare vehicle like that, I’d love to have it in my spots to be able to track those rare brands via the website, which is much easier than tracking them in my own files.
Sharing a view with another user doesn’t harm, and is even beneficial if the quality of the photo becomes even better. It brings better photos to the site, and improves the quality of the spot - it is only positive, as it still stays in your gallery and in your stats, you’re not losing this model or this spot of a black FNI plate at all.
Also, I find the fact that you’re mentioning my demand as “selfish” quite ironic, as my demand isn’t only for my own gallery. It would improve the quality of the spot overall, while not deleting the entire spot from your gallery. At the end of the day, it’s simply a proposition to share the photos on a car seen twice by different users, which only makes it cooler, as are all double spots

Do you seriously think that your photo made, probably, by a phone is better than my one made by the camera? Just close up both of it. if my photo is of a lower quality than yours, I would certainly agree to a replacement.

The arguments that you gave to share one view do not touch me at all, because I have my own point of view, and my own reasons for uploading certain photos to the gallery.
You want to have Morgan in your gallery, I want to have as many of both views of 779 plates as possible. So we both have our own goals. Now tell me, why do you consider yourself a priority over me? How are you better than me? Why should I help you achieve your goals while sacrificing mine?
