    Yes, but only from 1400m, and a thin layer, not 50 cm! In Crans-Montana, there is again 20 cm (1m60 in february...), you can go skiing without problem!

    That sounds cool, I actually never see snow, maybe once in the whole year, normally in February on the mountains nearby.

    In Switzerland too ( In my village, it's raining, I hope it's snowing in Crans-Montana... I want to go to Crans-Montana tomorrow, if it rain, I think I will stay at home!
    They predict snow from 1500-1700m (Crans-Montana is 1500m)

    I really live in the Alps, in 10 km from my house, you can find ski tracks!
    I have only this pic taken from my house, this is the "Val d'Hérens", with a moutain (more than 4000m):
