Helvetics, does your Russian book help you?

Yes, a little! Actually, I only spent 1 day with them, so I didn't speak so many... When they speak together, they speak Chuvashian dialect... I spoke more with the interpreter, who is from Moscow! I only used baisc expressions (привет, как дела? хорошо/ приятного аппетита!/ спокойной ночи/ спасибо, ничего). These people are really nice, open, funny, their dances are beautiful! Unfortunately, only few of them spoke English or German, we couldn't have a real talk...
Next time, I will certainly be guide of a Russian group!

Chuvashian dialect is not a dialect, but a language of Turkic group. This language kept features of Old Turkic language better than other Turkic languages. Chuvashians live in neighbourhood with closely related Tatars and Finnish-Ugric Maris.
