I think this picture should be deleted because this license plate number has never been issued in the Réunion department.

Indeed, at that time, series in the overseas departments had only one or two digits. The first three digit serial number in the Réunion department was 100 MB 974 issued on 20 or 21/07/1965. For the EW 974 series, the maximum serial was 99.

But maybe it's an error on the license plate with the two letters inverted ? The registration 144 WE 974 was issued to a new Peugeot 104 on 23/12/1987   !;)
