Plates IN-6201...7000 were transferred from Lefkada (43) to Corfu (42).
That actually makes a lot of sense. Spotted several 43 coded plates on Corfu and already found it weird that there were so many 'Lefkada-registered' cars on Corfu. Plates IN-6201...7000 were transferred from Lefkada (43) to Corfu (42).

All IN plates were issued with code 43 as intended for Lefkada. Transferring parts of them to other prefectures was caused by too slow issue; it was ended in the late 90s.
